2017 E300
Power window problems.
Hello All. Im a new member and recently found you guys due to my current issue. I researched how to reset my power window and none of it worked. Or I’m just doing something wrong. I just swapped out my C250 for a 2017 E300 literally yesterday and today my driver side window goes up and halfway down. When I try to do the reset, It rolls back halfway down so holding the switch all the way up for 5 seconds is pretty Much useless because it won’t stay up to reset.
if you guys can help that would be awesome. I looked in this forum . I also checked my owners manual with no words on how to properly reset.

I’ve found a link between these windows issues and battery juice. If you can, get it on a trickle charger and get that battery topped up. Car has probably been stood for a while. Btw my 2016 E class battery was replaced after just 3 years because it couldn’t hold a decent charge. After this, I’ve not had any window issues again.
If the first method doesn’t work btw, then I’ve found gently moving the window up every one flick of the switch to get it at least ‘closed’. Ie if it’s raining

When it comes halfway down, let go and pull up again and hold. If it comes down again, let go and then pull up and hold etc. Keep doing this.
