Unhappy Issue with rebuilt gage cluster.

URGENT!!!!!!
I have taken two W123 gauge cluster. One form a parts car and one form the 240d. I swapped the internals of 240D cluster into the parts cluster. Problem is when reconnected nothing seems to work anymore other than the clock. Also a felt space fell out which I don't know where it goes. Plus I pulled on the oil line to give it more room for me to work on. Is it a issue of grounding???? The middle module screws don't go in anymore except the top left side screw. Also both clusters only had two screws on the left side of the middle module.

I took my dash out to replace the heater/ac box and had a few issues with the grounds when putting it back together. I don't remember exactly what it was but I ended up taking it out again and checking the grounds then reconnecting everything and it was fine.

The clock shares a ground with the rest of the cluster so I think your issue is probably fuse related. I would check the power to fuse 12 and then trace it to to the cluster. Clock is on fuse 2.
