Suspension Help for E500

My dads just bought a 1993 E500, registered 1997 in the UK, I'll post some pics asap. Our main concern with it is the suspension it seems to be front heavy, sometimes pulling to one side on particular roads. The car came with EVO II wheels now been replaced with SL60 rims 18x10 Rears and 18X8.50 Fronts. Any information regarding suspension setup on these cars would be very much appreciated.

I run the SL 2 piece rims in 18x10" and 18x8.5" on my 500E....easily can fit the 10s in the front and go 11s in the rear without mods.

H&R lowering springs and #1 (8mm) spring pads... no issues and alignment is very close to spec. 18" is about as big as you want to go IMO...19"s don't ride so well. I have the 17" EvoIIs for the track as they are a good 12-13 lbs lighter than the bigger SL rims.

Exclamation Tyres?

Thanks Jim. What size tyres did you use. Would my father be right on using 245/40 18 front tyres and 275/35 18 rears.

Yes, I have the same exact size on my 18s...Pilot Sports

The EvoIIs run Sumitomo 245/45/17 all around..still have them Peter

I have a stock 16" set with comp tires too...and sold a set of 17" Kosei K1s with Hoosiers on them...so only 3 sets of rims right now. But there are about half a dozen rims I like that I'd love to buy and keep around !!

Nope, don't like the clear corners on my green car..but they look good on other colors to me.
