There are not any Xenon Kits out there that I know of. if oyu mean HID's...yes.

btw chris xeon and hid are 2 interchangable words. if you look at the factory benz sticker it said xeon. the gas used in the hid is usally xeon.

cali who made this? was it wald or carelson? the eberuni ones are not like this and they are $250 a pair.
i am betting it wasnt wald; based on this kit wald makes.

well i measured an sl and s and a cl and they are all too long. but that is for a ce maybe the sl would fit the 4door perfectly.

Maybe they were made by zender?
If they were from another car the only car I could think of would be an r129 SL but I don't know if those had the vents like that.
The R129 SL was built on the W124 chassis as far as I know and did share quite a few parts of the W124.
I think that the front piece you are talking about is the same for a coupe or 4 door, I don;t think there was any difference fromt he front fenders forward between the sedan and coupes.

ok i went to my mechanic today and took pics of a r129 and measured it. there is no way to mod one of those panels to fit a 124. the r129 panel is longer and narrower.
it would be sooo easy is cali gave us the part# for that bad boy.

They say Pro-line on them. But they didn't come to me looking this way.They came looking gawdy & cheap. Rough & pitted rubber and the back mesh was just a plastic grate that looked like it was cut out from a fly swatter. I had alot of work done to these, they were recovered and smoothed out with fiberglass & I added real steel mesh to the back..Like you I was looking for these for awhile & when a member put these up for sale I ******ed them up.
From what I know they came in a set with the side rocker panels.
As for the side markers, I special ordered these from matrixde. I've seen some on Ebay so just check before you order from matrixde. I'll measure my install for you.
If there's enough people interested I can see if my figerglass guy can make a mold of mine and re-produce them.

cali what do you think about those? they are only $250 a pair and they are similar to the look i want. or is that tooo much? i guess i can find out what dealer cost is and use the resale license.

i will look for the side markers on ebay. i guess my AMG wing is out. i am not gonna spend $500 on a knock off made of fiberglass. if someone has a better suggestion please by all means throw it out there.
cali are your side markers white all the time or are they clear lenses with an amber bulb?

With the amount of money you're saving my doing your paint down South I'd go for it. It sounds like you really like the SL gills, so pick them up while you can.
My side markers are wired to my turn signals. So they only blink when I signal. They're hyper white bulbs to match my clear corners. I had been pulled over before when I had sidemarkers wired on full time..

they are doing:
the bumper repair
the expanded metal
fixing dents and dings
spraying rubber on the inside fenders (where the rocks sandblast the paint off) and painting over them so it doesnt chip
rolling the fenders
painting and installing the fender panels with grilles
filling in my existing body panel chrome strips with filler. god i hate the chrome stipe that goes down the side of your car (unless someone knows how to BLACK chrome that baby). a mod i would gladly do if i knew how
laying down 5 coats of paint 3 coats of clear
block sanding the car
removing all the panels
today i purchase 102 bux in assorted clips just so all the body panels and molding will fit real nice when they go to put them back on the car.
Cali i am ordering the marker lights like yours tomorrow. mbz only had the clk ones that are oval style and the group consenus at the shop was rectangle ruled. i guess i am gonna break down and buy the fender vents for 300. i am buying a right hand drive mirror that is electric and matches my driverside mirror $190.
all said and done the project might only cost $1,900.
300 fender vents
100 clips
200 mirror
1100 paint
40 side markers
50 expanded metal
10 can of black paint
100 bux to the guy that turned me onto the TJ painter
almost forgot
90 for color sand and buff 3 weeks after its painted.

Also, I thought about doing the same thing you did with the side mirrors. Let me know how that looks and that might be something I'm interested in. Where did you get it anyhow?

i am ordering it from mbz. they want 212 list and i can get it for at least 190 if not cheaper. mbz cost is 139.

Stealership is always trying to get more money. I called in earlier to order a '05 SLK Windscreen, normal price is 653 but they wanted 562....and I'm like that's wholesale? lol
Anyways, I'll give them a call and see how much I can get it for. Is the 190 dollars the wholesale price? Seems bull***** since cost is 139.

i have no idea how to remove it. i would guess pull back the rubber cover and look behind that 1st. the 190 is wholesale to my buddies shop in placentia. i will call jerry and see what my price is when he gets better...hes got the flu.

Those chrome side panel trim can be black anodized. I was going to do that but I was impatient and just had my body guy colormatch them. I'm going to
re-do them soon.
Those side markers might not come with the bulb insert and wires. Mine didn't
but Sander and the guys down at TWS hooked me up with the wire install.
