window switches

got them out. i was afraid, but all you need to do to actually take them out is just wiggle them out. there is no wires attached to the actual wire. but i dismantled the inside of mine to see what was still wrong with it. how are the little metallic ***** supposed to be arranged?? here are some pictures

here is a link of a video

yea, they do. i opened up a good one and i set it up the same way but it still performs the same way... when i push up, it doesn't click correctly. when i do push up, there is no click and does work well. im hoping to find some on the internet. and is there a way to replace the bulb inside? 3 of mine don't work, one does. odd

How about swapping the good one with the bad one - assuming the connection geometry is the same and not left-handed. This should help isolate the problem.

By the way Freddie, if you still have the problems with your tranny, change your fluid. I just had mine changed yesterday and no more *bump* at all. It's much, much smoother.

ill give that another try pierce... no need to change filter right? and would i need to flush out the old fluid? any recommended fluids? and should i put in additives? if im gonna try this, ill do this right. if its just 60 bucks for the fluid, ill do it in a heartbeat. i hate having to ease into the acceleration. and the problem between 1-2 is close to nonexistent now. i guess my dad just never used that gear since its a 2nd gear start and i .. got it going agian??? . i also put in 2 bottles of that lucas total fuel treatment. but i put it into a full tank and i guess it hasn't gone into effect yet, because i dont' feel it. yea, im looking on the internet for some switches and i may go through some junkyards. any good ones around west covina?? umm back to the tranny thing... yesterday i drove and it felt like it did a double shift... when going from 2-3 , it shifted.. and it like... reshifted....that scared me. ideas? ill probably replace fluids on sunday and im gonna wash her today and try that peanut oil thing all over the trim today maybe
