Cracked Oil Pan

Cracked Oil Pan
That's what you get from a Sportline suspension and making your Mercedes fly 2 feet in the air while you're proving a ricer that his civic is slower then your 300E.
I used some bondo stuff it's working ok for right now. Anyone else experience this problem?

I too need to replace the pan on my 300E. Don't ask. Big dip. Bad day. ![Frown](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
What I've read so far says that it's a b*tch, though the manual doesn't make it sound hard: "Front engine mounts: unbolt from below. Engine: raise". I see that it'll be tough getting the rear of the pan over the crossmember. Can the engine go high enough without hurting other things?
Has anyone actually done this job in their driveway? I suppose I'll find out how tough it is to do when I hit the pick 'n pull for a replacement pan, but I'd like some first hand advice from the 'been there done that' crowd...
