Bad Light over Tachometer
One more thing I almost forgot. I pulled out the console with the spedometer and tach because I was trying to fix a burnt out light bulb over the tach. I can't find any access to any light? Has anyone done this before, or is this another pass-along to the mechanic?

Pull out the instrument cluster. You may have to stick something flat around it's edges on the top and bottom to unhook it from the dashboard.
There's two bulbs on top that are a bit bigger than the rest that illuminate the cluster. Turn the black "knobs" holding the bulbs 90-180 degrees until you can pull it out and replace the bulb in the "knob" holder.

I've just replaced a bulb in my speedometer - only to find now, another one is blown. It is quite a difficult job to remove the instrument cluster. Therefore I recommend that you buy enough of the small bulbs (quite cheap) to replace ALL the instrument lights whilst you have the assembly in pieces on the kitchen table!!!
Disturbing the cluster will inevitably cause other (old) bulbs to blow.
