Whats the best w124 for a euro trip
Hi guys,
Im planning on buying a w124 estate for a trip around europe. But i dont know which one to go for. Does anyone have mpg, performance figures for the 200te, 230te and 300te or 300 diesel. Are there any pros/cons for a particular engine.model? Anything i should be watching out for when buying?

i would think the 300te... good space, good power, not bad mileage. the normal typical wear of a 300e... of what i remember. lets see what other people here say. i am just a novice at 124's....

I just say the 230e because i had one here in the states and the mpg was really good for the octane rating but my first choice is the 300d! When buying a used car in europe try too look for some one who is selling his car because they got a new one. Any other reason would make me think there is something wrong with the car. Why would you sell a used car to buy another used car?
