Eeeeeeeeeebay!!!!!!!!
2. Take out your cluster - I am sure you can find instructions on removing it on one of the MB sites. try mercedesshops diy section... They may have a writeup on removing it there...
3. Dismantle the cluster from the back there are a bunch of screws, and remove the gauges.
4. Use a paper towel or napkit and a fork and carefully pry the needles off the old faces.
5. Install the new faces, and reinstall the needles carefully you will need to push the needles on with even pressure but dont push too hard. put the clock needles on at the 12:00 position. use your pictures taken in step one as a reference. You may want to paint the needles before you reinstall them, you can get the paint from a hobby store for rc cars in a variety of colors. use a very fine tipped brush and I recommend a matte finish paint.
6. Put gauges in the car without the cluster and make sure the needles for the tach, fuel, temp, and oil all read what they should. double check against your pictures taken in step one.
7. To install that wood piece, you are going to have to get the glass off the front of the cluster. I believe the only way to do that is to push it at the edges by putting your hand through the holes. and get it to crack loose, be careful not to break it though. you are probably going to have to glue it back down afterwards. you may want to get your hands on an extra cluster housing just in case...
8. you should now also be able to install the rings.
9. put it all back together, reinstall it in the car and you should be good to go.
Please note you are doing this at your own risk. I take no responsibility if you screw up your cluster or gauges...
