Head Rest question
I went to use my head rest button on the door and the head rest would not move. I could move it with my hands and I can hear the motor running in the seat. How can I trouble shoot this?

thats what my dad told me. im skeptical though. i have the exact same problem on both seats. and it also feels that my seat is loose. the back of the seat ( where i lay my back on ) can be moved back and forward :\

most likely there is some broken plastic inside the seat that holds the headrest.... common problem.
you have to remove the seat back...

I agree with ashman. They were $16.50 apiece when I replaced mine 2 years ago. If you really want to go cheap, you can fix the broken part by clamping it together with a hose clamp.

Thanks all I will get into it this evening or tomorrow. I have power because I can hear the motor run. I am glad its a easy fix. I never use them but the fact that something does not work.

I did the repair myself. The most difficult part of the job is removing the seat back. There are two screws at the bottom of the panel. Once those are removed, start from the bottom and pry up on the lip that is tucked into the channel, working your way up to the top. You don't necessarily have to do the other side, though it's easy once the tension is released. Once the back is off the problem should present itself.
