you mean having the key cut like yours?

2 things I would check first.

1. IF the key is brass, you don;t want to use it, as the brass will damage your locks over time.

2. A good locksmith that has a laser cutting machine can cut one.

Or you could do like me, and order a new key fromt he dealer, cut off the rubber head, then shape the metal to fit the key fob. that way I have an oem key which is not brass and factory cut and matched to my car, in a newer style fob.

I took an oem mb fob though and did ti to mine. I didn;t bother witht he little led ebay light one...

the guy at the mercedes dealership said he would try to copy the key for free. but he said it might not be perfect because it would be a copy and not something exact from like a vin or however they do it. but you still have to buy the key for 30 bucks. ive been looking at that one too. is his key brass?

I paid like $15 dollars max per key to get replacements from the dealer.

In fact I think they cost me $12.00 each. I know it was cheap because I almost ordered 3 instead of 2.

Where I'm at the locksmith that has the cutter to copy "sidewinder" keys charges $40 for the copy. If your local locksmith guy doesn't have one he'll usually know who does. I was thinking of buying one of those but the guy selling that stuff on Ebay had a whole lot of negative feedbacks and a lot of issues w/ buyers. Don't want to risk looking what little money I have.

Like I said cheaper and esier to go to the dealer and buy the key for your car. they should cost less than $25.00

Then grind it down to fit the fob.
