engine mods
i was thinking maybe a chip or something that is easy to do. not super expensive and has a nice kick to it. btw 3-6 hp increases dont usually translate to the wheels. however i know engine management chips tend to make great strides on driveability.
For one, the chips arent going to help this car. I looked into it a while back, and the gains were negligable.
The only cost effective way to get more performance is in changing the differential to a 3.27 instead of the 3.07 that is in the car now. that will make the car a bit quicker to 60, but gas mileage and top speed will be affected for sure.
Personally for me my car is fast enough. if I want a faster car, I'll buy a faster car. its not worth the expense of trying to make this engine faster. You could go with a pricey turbo kit (not cheap) or bore it out (probably around $10,000 - $15,000 depending on who does it.)
