Those wood shifters are all over Ebay. You can use the newer models with the shift adapter from performanceproducts

you can buy a shaft from performance products and install any after market ones you like. i did this on my car.

or there's another option. get a W202 shifter shaft and install a knob from a W203 (pics courtesy of 2phast.com)

final product

Performance Products still carries them. I ordered one for the W123 about 3 weeks ago from them. They're just not listed on their website for some reason. You have to call your order in for the shifter knobs.

here's the shaft from performance products and an aftermarket wood knob.

yes, you can't see it online. but you can still buy it. call them or go directly to their shop. i live about 5 mins. from them.

hey rammbs that looks nice, going to try a euro car salvage yard in the area in the next couple of days to see if they have that W201 shaft like the one 2phast.com used.

BTW how much did you pay for the adapter and knob from performance products?

btw, you need the shaft from a W202.

i bought the knob online for $65 (including adapter). not from performance products.

the shaft was $20 (+/-)
