Yep I'm keeping it, its my first mercedes, just bought it on my birthday last month in august. In excellent condition 75k miles with black exterior with grey lower panels with the fake but still look awesome to me 18" AMG double 5 spoke staggered rims. Tint already done. Everybody loves my car as coupes are rarely seen here, well as a 300ce. I plan to replace the entire audio system, clear corners, black tinted tails, new grille and style, not sure on what style headlights yet, and drop it. MY time is short as I will be putting it up for the winter, I thought that maybe if I put the springs on now and ride on the stock shocks till the springs settle. Then by that time I'll have the cash all up for bilstein sports since I have to go back in and do the spring pads and such anyways. It isn't going to the shop till I need to get it aligned.

I would recommend you add the springs with the bilstein shocks so everything gets settled together to accurately know what spring pad to throw into the car.

i agree. while they're in the area...

here's a search on spring pads http://www.mercedesshop.com/shopforu...earchid=460132

i got 3/4" drop just by changing to #2 front and #1 in rear[came w #4's front, #3's rear].
i have bilstein heavy duty's.

in hindsight, i wish i'd have done sportline springs w bilstein sports.

i just got a '92 400e w 90k. i'd like to drop it a bit...
first i may need an evaporator

lets see some pix of your coupe

I can vouch for the SportLine+ setup with Bilstein Sport shocks. 1" drop, greatly improved handling, and No Camber Issues.

I'm satified with the performance and handling of the stock feel so upgrading isn't what i'm aiming at. So another starting point is to get vogtland and start with the thickest spring combo and go from there? Anybody try that?
