jrmd,
it's h&r springs the 2959-1 model I believe, the one with 1.5" drop front, 1.3" drop back. the mechanic actually got a lil mixed up on my directions for the spring pads so i have bump 4 front and bump 2 back. surprisingly it looks pretty even, but then again every car is different and i think my car drops in the front more than typical. the rims are carlsson 2/6 in 18x8 et35 with 225/40/18 rubber. tires now are continentals which typically have a "fatter" sidewall, i.e. theyre beefier. right now there's zero rubbing when it's just me but when i have a passenger the right rubs a little bit on hard turns. fine when cruising along peacefully. will be switching to 215/40/18 yoko paradas i have sitting in the garage when these contis wear out. theyll be stretched and prob help on the rubbing. right now, none of the fenders are rolled and not too many problems. we'll have to see though. springs just went in last night so i'll see in a couple weeks after the settle some more.
cali,
lol. appointment already made tomorrow. 35% all around.
oops. jr, shocks are bilstein sports. awesome. not too harsh not too soft. minimized body roll and when you do high speed turns/lane changes/etc, the car "rolls" smoothly into the turn but without the "rolling back." kinda just turns and sits. real nice.

damn man! Looks good!
Now all you need is a GenII AMG kit and other things and you'll be like ZorroAMG's! lol I'm really liking those Carlsson's though. Couldn't you add spacers in the rear to make the wheels go out a little bit more and even with the front?

zorro,
ive always loved the carlsson 2/6, ever since the first time i saw them back in the day. deciding between a few different wheels, but the minute i saw your setup, i knew that was the "final answer." llo
chris,
that amg kit would sure be nice. now if i can find one...and enough spare change under my couches to pay for it.
