Hydro-pneumatic auxiliary rear suspension blocked
Sorry, my English is not fluent.
I have a 260E, year 1987, 297.000 Kilometers, with Hydro-pneumatic auxiliary rear suspension.
Now the rear suspension is like blocked -very hard-.
I will appreciate any idea about it to start trying to fix the problem.
Thanks in advance.

you need to replace the accumulators... or nitorgen sphears, 3 ten mm bolts hold them in place and one fitting i think is a 17 and the other is a 12.... make sure u have flare nut wrenches..... i don't think the 124s here in the USA had this feature. 90% of the 140s have them and all 126s do too. . except the 300s and the 420s

yea.... so u know, the rear suspension isn't "blocked" as you call it, the diaphram in that sphere collapsed causing the whole sphere to get filled up w/ the hydrolic fluid and not letting it bounce back..... so make sure u get bout 2 liters of the hydrolic fluid

Any idea about the cost of these accumulators?
Do you know if is it possible to repare them?
Best regards
