TBA Solutions

I own a w124 I thought this would help you guys out since many of us have the same problem. I had problems with my TBA(throttle body actuator)(stopped working after I replaced my wiring harness) and didnt want to spend 1500 to replace mine and have been searching for something less expensive and found Mark at Mercedes Parts who rebuilds them for 124/202/140/129 chasssis.I bought one for $400.00 plus 200 for the core. It was ALOT less expensive than the 1500-1800 they want now for a new one. It also comes with a 6 month warranty. When I spoke to him he said he doesnt offer technical support and to make sure that the TBA is the culprit.Often times as he stated it is the injection harness or wiring harness causing the fault first. Make sure that is ok before you replace the TBA. But he sounds like he stands behind his product. It has solved all of my running issues and it has been the last part I wanted to replace after the Head gasket, wiring harness etc. But it is soooo much nicer now, my cruise control works again and my car idles again with the AC on!!! I hope this helps everyone!!!!
