Hi;
Performance Products has a double set that mounts in the open tray (if yours is open) of the center console, under the arm rest. They are color coded to your interior. They install w/double-stick tape. I cut out the center of the small piece of carpet so it fits around the cupholder - looked almost factory original. Be certain to mount the cupholder far enough back so it clears the wood of the center console when the front cupholder is opened. Also, it must be mounted far enough back from the wood so you can access the screw and be able to remove the console wood/switch unit for future service. If you have a newer 124 with the center console glovebox, you are out of luck unless you remove that glovebox.

I talked to Performance Products and unfortunately the only ones they have are the ones that you have to screw into your door panels or mount in the center console. My car has a very nice storage compartment with wood that I would hate to loose just for a cup holder. And, there is no way I'm drilling a cup holder into door. I have scoured the web and can not find any cup holder that works for our car. My wife and I aren't into driking tons of beverages in the car, in fact, only water is allowed! I just need something to keep it within reach in the car and hold it from rolling around.

or if that isn't good enough for you you have to stick with the cheap stuff that hang off your window seal or sit on tour dash and supposably don't move while in motion.
