Exclusive! Announced here first!

She is back from paint. Looks amazing.

They did a fantastic job. the paint is smooth as silk, beautifully glossy, and simply put, the car looks amazing!

Enjoy!

My spoiler is almost finished being painted. soon to be installed! Finally after a year! And My Grill was finally actually painted to match the car properly! And those old rectangular small AMG logos that I had ont he fenders is gone, as well as all little dings and such on the sides. some of you may also remember that crimp on my rear left fender lip, that too is fixed! Still Have to retint the window, that will get done in a few days.

Now my only dilemma... To Add The ///AMG Bade back on, or leave it debadged! I am having a hard time. I like the AMG logo on it, but at the same time, debadged is just soo clean.

Umm it's called fresh paint and fresh color sand. LOL

I don't really wax, my brother either details the car and uses meguires, or the car wash waxes it for me once a month. but now that I have new paint, I'm thinking of Zymol, heard good stuff about it and that after you have used for a while, the paint looks even better.

Alon, the car looks great! Definitely a nice paint job you got there.

They didn't do the black with blue pearl paint job?

they did I am sure, just the lighting makes it so you cant see it. the blue pearl only really came out in the sunlight. when overcast, it always just looked black...

But I am sure he did, because the roof and bumpers and side mouldings still have the blue pearl, and he deifnately would have matched it as he repainted half the car a few years ago when I was rear ended.

amazing work!!! wow, that looks sweet. looks like the paint is still wet. and usually the paint should not be waxed for 3 months after the paint job to let it 'breathe' zaino does seem nice but a bit over priced. for like a product of zaino, you can get like 2 or 3 of meguiars. i personally haven't tried zaino yet, as i am pleased with meguiars at the moment.

Zaino

Use Zaino on it and you will like it even more. I can tell you that from personal experience on all 3 of my cars.

The antenna seal is the first thing I will be doing to finish it off, that is including blacking out the rear star. Still torn about puttin the AMG badge back on it... Love the clean look, but love the AMG on the back too....

Can't wait to get my wing back from paint! It's gonna complete the look.

I will wait the alotted time period according to my bodyshop before doing any kind of waxing. and only hand washes for a while, maybe forever. Dunno if I trust the car wash with fresh paint, even though they use the same machine for all kinds of exotics and such...

I don't mind paying more for a wax, with an expensive paintjob, why get cheap on protecting it and keeping it nice?

Later on I'll get around to having the side mouldings redone... for now they look just fine to me.

Wowzaz! Looking hot, Alon as per usual. Blacking out the rear star is going to be the final touch on the Darth Sled. You will be my American counter-part

Well done.....

License plate fram was from ebay. it originally said clarsson on it and was chrome. I painted it black and put my own vinyl on it.

you know me i gotta chime in.

good job. glad it didnt take months. its good to see you clear up issues with the paint. i remember you saying it bothered you a bit. the front grille looks nice.

constructive thougts.

the mbz star needs to go. i removed mine and its 10x cleaner.
////amg needs to be put back on but it needs to be in black chrome or something of the like. i am doing mine in black to minimize the chrome as you have done. if you want it stock chrome i will give you the part # for the 2 ////amg i just bought. btw they are 50 bux each if you are getting a break from the dealer. otherwise they are 61 bux. i have 2 one will go on the trunk after final color sand and the other one is placed on top of the custom 1st kit filler that was made this week.

this car is making its debut at the oct 15th meet in irvine everyone. i am reserving 2 spots for just our 2 cars. one will be red and one will be black. they both use the amg gen1 kits with slightly different wheels and looks. it will be a really good contrast at the meet. maybe since i have a little pull we will put all the 124's at the front by tj's.
