94 E320 Transmission Problems..NO REVERSE

I have a 94 E320 that all of a sudden lost reverse. Everything else is fine, all the other gears are OK. There was no warning at all. Just one day it didn't work. I'm hoping it's an electrical problem. If anyone has any information that would help I would appreciate it. Also, where can I get a schematic for this transmission...it's a 722.369...Thanks again.

Sounds vaguely familiar..... try searching the archives using keywords "B2 piston". It may not be as serious as we think.

Thanks...I have look at the B2 information and it relates only to the forward gears. It appears as though the bands are slipping in reverse. Anybody know how to adjust them?

Sorry for that I wasn't trying to be a jerk just trying to bring some humor because that is a serious and $$$ problem. B2 piston should be the problem. I am having some issues with my tranny too so we are going to be in the same boat pretty soon. Im going to drive the Shhiet out of my car and just sell it for parts LOL.

NP.....I guess when life throws a curve the best thing to do is laugh at it....anyway..the reverse gear problem is the B3 piston which is buried behind the the pump in the back of the tranny. It DOES need to come out of the car. Haven't decided what to do....probably get a re-build.

08 Lexus GS350 AWD. 08 Lexus RX350 AWD - wife's. 94 MBZ E320 - still have it.
How many miles do you have on your car? Have you been servicing your AT every 30K miles? I have a '94 320 with 130K miles on it. So far everything works, but now I wander, for how long.
