want to paint e320
I want to get my car repainted black (original color) because the car sat outside for a year (long story), and dont want to spend to much money. Needs repainting due to many scratches, faded paint, and a chunk of paint the size of a quarter came off when somone pressure washed it.
Whats the best way to go???
1. respray over old paint
2. do it right and have old paint stripped/sanded off then re spray. (probably too costly though).
3.or i my self strip/sand the paint off and have it resprayed.
-has anyone ever sanded their original paint off to have it repainted. if so, how hard is it and about how long did it take? can just any one do this?

why would you power wash your paint
to answer your question. just do it the right way.
you get what you pay for, ESPECIALLY on a benz.

oops
best way would be to have a shop strip the paint.
more costly but it's the best way to do it.
another thing to look at is the condition of the car, if it's worth having an expensive paint job on it. then do it
if the car has problems, personally i would consider doing other things first.
