Heater problem, 1989, 260E
The weather is turning cool and I now need to use the heater in the morning.
The problem started last year but I completely forgot about it during the summer months.
I can't get heat in the car, even with a fully warmed engine and the temperature control set at Max heat...(either on Econ or a/c)
The heater will give heat immediately after I floored the accelerator for a few seconds as if it needed nearly 0 vacuum to operate properly.
Is the water valve vacuum operated?
