I know it sounds crazy but i used to get around 28mpg in my 230E 2.3 4 cyl and that thing was fast even burned rubber once because it started in first. Also there was a switch on it that was strande that had and S and E next to the shifter?

 

I need this part number for my car 0125452032. Does any other number work? I mean was tested by any of the members here and turned out to really work?

Someone mentioned Car-Part.com earlier in this post, this is one of my favorite resourses for parts. But you have to learn how to use it. Sometimes the part you want is not listed, so what I do is click on the closest related part and write down some yard names and numbers that have parts from the vehicle I'm dealing with. I have also found that, especialy with the Merc cars, you have to do several searches using all possible models that could have your part. I was looking for a hood for my 95 E320. Had to do a 1) 94-95 E320 search, 2) 94-95 E230, 3) 94-95 E420, 4)94-95 E00, etc. 4 completly different searches. You just call these yards and see what they have. Hope this helps someone.

what year is your 300ce? if it 1990 -1992 then these should work. but I am not sure if the U.S. Versions are different than a Euro version.

Ram, I got mine back in october. car has been running great since.

And I also finally found the correct size lugnuts for my wheels! and Wheel locks to go with them! I was stoked on that.

Silverspear, this is a difficult part to find. the lowest I was quoted was like $1500.00 from various car parters. the part when I checked in october was on worldwide backorder and no eta. That came straight from Mercedes btw as to that information.

So if you can locate one that is guaranteed working from anybody for less than $1500.00 it is a good price.

if I could get my hands on another one, and if I had the extra cash to get one, I would do so to have as a spare. but this part does not normally go out.
