blower repair

To put it simply, it's a ***** to get at. You can either remove the entire dash and console, or you can try to get at it through the fire wall by removing the windshield wiper assembly and squeezing it out. Your three options are basically, 1. live with it. 2. dedicate a whole weekend to trying to fix it. 3.Pay somebody to fix it.
This is the kind of repair that in my opinion, even if you have the skill to do, is not worth you wasting your time on. There aren't too many bad thigs about a W124, this just happens to be one of them.

I did mine in about 2 hours start to finish.
Go to your local dealer and get them to print out the WIS instructions or call me at 1-800-966-1580 and I could fax them to you.

This link will help you immensely. If I had this when I did mine it would have saved a ton of time.
