W124 Htd. Seats not working
The heated seats in my 95 cabriolet have both quit. It's not the fuse, at least at first blush, as i had the dealer check that. Then they pulled out the line "it'll take more time to diagnose" which usually means at least 2-3 hours of looking time...
Thought i'd ask you guys if anyone can offer up an explanation before I fork over the $250 of diagnostic money...I figure it's a great sign that both went out simultaneously (loose wiring harness or some such small item, I HOPE)...

500E Signal Rot
Pull the rear seat and under the drivers side are two stacked box's, the bottom one is the control unit for the heated seats, I had some issues and pulled it, took it apart and found corosion on the relay contacts, the box is not sealed very well and moisture found its way in there.

One thing I should point out is that I tried cleaning the contacts. They were so bad that they weren't cleanable (one was missing a contact pad) - two relay units had to be replaced.
