Unhappy Water Pump Replacement on a 260E

Water pump is noisey and leaking coolant. I pulled off the radiator, shroud, aircleaner, fan, and belt, but I can't see all the nuts that hold the pump in place, and for the 3 that I can see (top front, top rear and lower rear) the only one I can access the the top front. How do I access the other nuts to remove the pump. /mb

try http://mb.braingears.com

Go to the w124 section, I think it is on disc one and look for the waterpump replacement procedure for your model

260E Water Pump Replacement

Thanks, I did go to the site, but couldn't find where they put water pump info. Later yesterday I talked with a mechanic that said I needed to remove the belt tensioner. Do you know where I can find a diagram of the tensioner and it's retainers? /mb
