Too big for Chris?

I think he needs a smaller diameter, for his old-school hammers.

oops, my bad, didn't realize the size was not what he was looking for. Chris, what have you ended up doing with your rims? Did you find centercaps yet?
Those PT cruiser ones don't look bad.

its not just a matter of the size. but also of how the centercap is affixed to the rim. mercedes wheels tend to have a slightly thicker flange where the centercaps mount to the wheels than most makes. he could put those chysler ones on, but the likelihood is high that they would fall off.

the center caps are threaded in the back, you screw a bolt into them with a bar on the og amg hammers.

I am pulling one of mine off ina couple of weeks and will be sending it to a machine shop to have new ones made, but a few sets of them, and probably customized with AMG text on them..

Chris is patient, he can wait for some ones that are exactly like the originals but better.

Sorry for the late reply everyone. I've been busy with work and other things which is why you don't see me whoring the forums anymore.

Anyways, Thanks Diesel for the look out. I still haven't found a set of original or copied 2.5" center caps for my Hammer's. I had a source but he never came through so I'm slightly over it. Anyways, the wheels are already on my car.

Having no center caps doesn't really bother me, I agree that it will look better if they did have center caps but it's not something I'm really worrying about. Like what Alon said in his last post. I'm really patient and would rather have the real deal than have something cheap done. I'm just waiting for Alon to make copies and all will be good.
