car won t start when cold in park position

car won t start when cold in park position

hello i have a 1993 300 ce with 100.k miles
had the car 100 % checked before buying few weeks and all was ok
all serviced were done ontime by a meticulous owner
i have just noticed that in the morning when the car is cold it won t start in park
i have to move the shifter to neutral then its ok
what is the prob here
when its hot i never have that prob the car shift great and is a superb machine
it s also a sprotline

probably the neutral safety switch, or it needs some adjustment to the shifter...
