Cost of blower motor replacement

1993 MB 300E 2.8

Does anyone know what it might cost to have the AC blower motor replaced (parts & labor) in a 1993 MB 300E 2.8 ?

Thanks!

The blower isn't that expensive, couple hundred bucks...but its the labor that hurts; ya' need to take apart the wiper area to get at it, more than what I was willing to get into, and more than a few hours labor, like 5 or 6. I paid around $750 maybe 5 years ago.

The 1992 300TE I bought a few weeks ago had that job done a few days before I purchased it. The bill in the service records shows the cost of the used blower motor at $100. The labor shows 3.8 hours and it says the following:
AC inoperable, check system, replaced blower motor, replaced pushboutton unit with rebuilt. Since you only need the blower probably would be about 3 hours.

if you are a good DIY it is not so bad. As Jim said some hours but not difficult at all. Take the wiper off, the cover of the wiper assembly, take off the parts of the A/C ducts and there you are. Unplug the fan cable take the fan out ............
