Transmission shop in San Jose, CA area

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and would like some advice in a good transmission repair shop located in the San Jose, CA area. I have a 1990 300E w/ 167K, but I think the tranny needs a rebuild. It is stuck in 1st and cannot go faster than 10mph.

Thanks in advance,
Dave

I changed it last year and I checked to make sure there was enough fluid. BTW, I called one shop yesterday and the guy mentioned to me that Mercedes' made four different types of automatic transmissions for the 1990 300E models. I have a hard time believing this. Can someone confirm?

Thank you very much for the recommendations. I just drove it around the block and now it's shifting fine. I'm hoping it doesn't need a rebuild, but rather just a check for the vacuum pressure and the lines.

i know the 2.6 used the "W201 style transmission" and the 3.0 used the "W126 style." where the other two come in i dont know unless they are counting the (rare) 5 speed auto that was mostly found in the R129 300SL and was a 124 option in all other markets but north america.
the diesel might also have its own specific transmission.
