What's the difference?
guys I saw tow c 124 coupes both have 6 cylinders 300 engine but one is black colored and one is black and silver with mercedes-benz written in the middle so like what is the difference and i saw a ce 230 or 220 not sure cabriolet whats the engine power and could i make it stronger and if i cant make it that strong can i add the 6 cylinder engine on it i mean im used to my 560sec and my cl600 so you can imagin the huge difference

86 190E 2.3 16V, 93 400E, 98 S500
In 1990 (like my 300CE) the motor changed to 3.0L 24V (black with Mercedes emblem and words in silver on top of the cams) Prior to that they had the standard 3.0L motor, single cam, black cam cover.
I think in 92 they went to the 3.2L motor, twin cam etc. No horsepower change I am aware of. Both the 3.0l 24V and 3.2 24V have approx. 220 hp.
3.0 single cam - 177 hp.
Certainly not what you have in your 560 and 600, but they are a terrific car to drive.

Can we see pictures of your cl600??
