climate control issues
The blower fan in my '93 300E comes and goes. It will work for a little while, then just quits no matter what fan setting I put it on. The A/C compressor is working. There are no squeals coming from the blower when it works. Is there a way to test and see if the problem is the blower motor itself or the blower motor regulater? Any thing else that might cause this problem? I think that the car has had the wiring harness replaced at some point, the harness insulation looks pretty new. Thanks, Matt.

update
My blower quit for good. I checked the big 30 amp fuse by the regular fuse box and it was blown. I replaced it and now everything works fine. I checked the wiring harness and it has been replaced. Don't know when but looked pretty new( I've only had the car for about 2 months) What would cause the fuse to blow out like that? Is the blower motor getting ready to die and drawing more current than it should?
