hello
use the "search" feature first
real amg cars already have lowered suspensions and stiffer sway bars.
i saw under your vehicle you say you have a amg 3.2...lets see some pics...there are a lot of bullschitters online...
if you're just wishing and shopping research "sportline"

ok maybe its not AMG then but the guy who sold it to me said it was. i beleve this cause it does have a 3.2 DOHC 24v engine in it. so dont get all defensive. i was just asking a question, oh ya not to mention i have gone about 155 MPH and it was still pushing.

you guys are just a bunch a *****s that you cant push your car anything pass 100. so u just act like a smart *** to cover up that either your car sux or ur a *****. i would love to race any of u guys cause u guys are so ignorant. you can get a civic pass 150 mph no problem if you put enough money in it so u cant tell me that it is unheard of for and E320 MERCDEDES to reach 155.

I have vogtland springs and bilstein sport shocks installed on my car. This combination gives a significant drop in ride height and exponentially increased handling characteristics. Other options exist too, such as Eibach and H&R springs and KYB shocks. I have not tried these, but many people on these forums have various combinations of these. If you're looking for a low drop and good handling, I'd go with the vogtlands.
I'm intrigued about your engine. If you really have gone 155 (and it wasn't going downhill while you were in a huge slipstream), you must have some sort of upgraded engine. Try to borrow a friends camera and take some pics. And just for your info, all M104 engines are 24-valve DOHC 3.2's

If you truly want the best combination of ride quality and handling, go with the full Sportline setup. If you want to drop it more aggressively and firm it up at the expense of some comfort, go with H&R/Bilstein.
The AMG version of that motor was punched out to 3.6L and good for ~270hp. They dropped it into the W124 and later into the W202 (C36). If your engine is still an I6 displacing 3.2L, nothing short of forced induction or NOS is going to get you to 155 and climbing. The mods you mentioned would optimistically net you 10hp if done correctly (or a loss if your CAI is drawing hot air from the engine bay).
Oh, and by the way, a stock 300E tops out at 137mph. It also had a 3.07 rear end, which means with the 4-speed the car doesn't have enough gears to reach 155 (regardless of how much power you have). The E320 had a 2.65 but was electronically limited to 130mph.
And yes, I've ventured past 100mph. Hit the end of fourth at an indicated 161mph. If only I had another gear...

ok i am dead serious i got my car to go 155 maybe my speedometer is messed up but the fact that the cars looked like they were going 20 mph kinda make me think that i was. im really not making this up, i actaully though that 400E could no problem clear 160 because mines only a 3.2. all guys really think im just lieing to make my car cool. well u want to know the truth my car sux compared to half the cars on this forum. no body upgrades very little engine upgrades and on top of that im very poor. but my car really did go 155.

All we're saying is that it's very unlikely that your car hit 155mph, for several reasons. I'm assuming you have a '93, because that was the only 300E that had the 3.2L DOHC from the factory (they switched the nomenclature to E320 for '94-95). However, to my knowledge, that car had a 3.07 final drive ratio. If you have the 4-speed automatic, this means you would run out of gears before you hit 155mph, even if you had 500hp. Or, if it had the 2.65 (I'm not sure whether they switched the differential in '93 or '94), then it was electronically limited to 130mph (which is actually slower than the 300E's 137mph).
BTW, I'm not sure the 400E can hit 155mph either because of its 2.24 rear end. It will definitely do it with a 2.82.

W124's
As one has stated earlier, The Vogtlands & Bilstein shocks is a really good combination. I'm running that set up on my car right now and absolutely love it. Although, I am curious is to how KYB ride on the W124's. I guess I'll wait and see until my friend gets them on his car and lets me know how they are. lol Gosh, I wish they had a coilover set up for our cars. I would get that in a heart beat. Anyways, if you do a search for all the topics I made ... I posted a lot of pictures on how my car looked when it was completely slammed with vogtlands and etc so it gives you a better idea.
Daez_Nutz, Does in fact know what he's talking about. lol His E500 is nutz. hahaha
Anyways, going off topic - I'm kind of curious about the top speed of our cars. During the summer I raced a RSX Type S on the freeway and almost did close to 140MPH until I let off the gas, I killed him by the way. It seems like, as I was watching the RPM and how the car was driving, me and my friend that was with me agreed that it could of kept on going. Maybe after I tune up the engine, I'll give it another top speed run. lol Anyways, 137MPH limit is still rather impressive for our cars especially given the age and etc.

i have a 1993 3.2 and i hit 138mph. it felt like the car could go faster but if i rember correctly the m104 has some sort of governer built into the computer. by the way i was going down hill and had to stop due to a nasty left that was approaching very, very fast.

BenzTheBeast might be on to something. The 1993 w124.032 has the 2.65 rear axle ratio, and I've read somewhere, that the govenor wasn't installed until 1994. BenzTheBeast try the Sportline plus setup ( Sportline coils with limo front & 500E rear anti-sway bars ) Surprisingly sporty, yet smooth over all but the largest of pavement heaves.
