Dash board lights?

My dashboard lights (AC swtiches) do not operate. Does anyone know how to fix this? Also, I was wondering where i can order body modifications to my W124 (92' 300E) in the United States. Thanks..

260E , 1989 (for now)
A/C control lights are fairly easy to replace.
The wooden piece surounding the knobs have to be removed. There are 2 screws just above the radio, under the temperature control and the fan control. remove the wood panel
You'll see 2 screws on each side of the controls. Remove.
Now you ,can remove the knob covers and you<ll see the lights bulbs. You will nee a very fine set of pliers to get access to the bulbs. remove and replace with new bulbs.
I used a drinking straw to re-insert the bulbs. Good luck

Did you try the dimmer control?

It is the left knob in your instrument control. Turn both ways a few times.

Great, thank you... I was wondering why that would turn and nothing would happen ( in the day ). Strange place to put it, i saw the dashboard light controls on the light controls in other mercedes Benz E's so i figured mine had no control over it. Thanks again
