Mercedes benz 1991 300ce(RIP), now an 89 300ce
window lube
all of my windows have been moving very slowly and been getting scratched up as i move them up and down. any ideas what the problem is? do i need to lube em, and with what? thanks again

08 Lexus GS350 AWD. 08 Lexus RX350 AWD - wife's. 94 MBZ E320 - still have it.
1. Lower the glass all the way down and clean the horizontal seals (at the bottom of the window opening) with wet cloth.
2. Spray a lot of silicone spray into the front and rear vertical glass chanel.
3. Repeat the procedure with other windows.

I was talking about those felt-rubber chanels that hold the front and rear edges of the glass. Usually silicone cans cone with tiny tubes, just like WD-40. I do not recomend using WD-40, beacuse it could ruin the rubber in those chanels.

i did clean off the horizontal things as well as i could, that did a little. in addition, i managed to get dura lube all over my windows. it seems to work a little but didnt do all that much. am i supposed to open up the doors to get to teh machinery and lube that?
