Red face Center console volume

Hi,
Thanks to all that respond to my other posts ..Heres one more..When I bought the car someone had installed a panasonic radio which works fine however the rear speakers were shot. I have replaced them with other4ohm speakers now here is the problem whoever the orig installer was they left the center console volume hooked up and this is creating a load and the rear speakers are not very loud. Yes I do realize if the speakers are rated high they will require more power this is not the case . I would like to bypass this control anyone know where the leads are I am trying to avoid taking the center console out . Thanks,
Dave
