Domestic Source for E500 headlights?
I saw a post at Mercedes Shop forum which suggested Speed-Autoteile.com are there any supplies in North America?
Hella
1EJ 007 219 317
1EJ 007 219 327
Addendum - For the Euro spec owners, do remove them for State Inspections?

I doubt anyone would notice them at a state inspection. I've never heard of any problems here in CT. If you have a 94-95' model they really don't look any different where you would notice anyway. I'v ebeen pulled over numerous times in my 92' and no mention of the euro-lites I have, ever.
PUMA would have to get them from MB direct as Hella no longer sells replacement ones in their own boxes. Paul used to (5 years ago) stock them but no longer and the price is over $300 a side now and you must wait 4-6 weeks he told me. But if you do go thru 'Speed' in Berlin, make sure they don't 'speed' ship them as it is VERY expensive; its exponentially cheaper if you ask for the D-post (regular German mail) and takes maybe 2 weeks instead of 3-5 days.
There's this other seller named Rusty, not sure if he can get them but from what I hear, he has great prices on MB OE parts. There's a banner for him over at 500E.com to reach him to ask.

I have only the numbers for the pre-face lifted euro-500Es at hand (in my garage rather).
You can find the current OEM euro-lite Mercedes-Benz numbers on 500E.com for the 93-95' european-spec cars...do a search over there. If not I can find them on parts Cd at home..or if no one comes up with the numbers here for you.
