I wont bother fixing it yet. I plan on seeing if I can rebuild it myself. I have heard it is just the bearings that need to be replaced.. but you can;t get them seperately. I am looking into bearing suppliers at the moment to see what they have.

When was the last time you had to smog your car? Was your pump already making noise or not yet? Do you or anyone know if it is possible to pass smog when your smog/air pump is making noise? A Mechanic told me, from a place called Westcoast Autobahn' in Orange, that the pump only turn on for 120 seconds or so from when you start your engine or if your engine gets too cold.
