awesome speakers
hey guys, when i decided to update my speakers in my 300ce, i went for a new brand at circuit city called eclipse. i was so impressed that i wanted to tell u all about it. these are some of the best speakers i have ever heard, and they were only $100 per pair. i got the 5.25" and they are 3 ways, so are the other sizes except for the 6x9s, they are 4 ways. anyway, the ones i got have tweeters, super tweeters, and a midrange with a freq response of 90hz-40khz. altho they arent crazy powerful, only 90 watts peak. i just wanted to let you guys know about this, if u get a chance check em out.

I've got Rainbow KX-120 koaxials in my W124. Totally plug'n'play, no need for any modifications. Sound is awesome, I just love it. It did cost 56 euros plus shipping, I think it is a real bargain.

the infinity's that my circuit city was carrying was the lowest end, reference series. before they got rid of the infinity i listened to them both side by side, and the eclipses did sound better, in my opinion. if u miss the infinitys, best buy started carrying em pretty much as soon as circuit city stopped

I have a Alpine deck and Alpine Speakers in my door and back dash. I really like them...oh yeah, i have two 12" Alpine Subs in my trunk. www.bizrate.com finds some pretty good deals...thats where i found mine. only down fall is shipping but some places give u a deal if u buy alot.

Eclipse isn't a new brand, just that they usually cost so much that some stores don't stock them or people just aren't paying for them but very high quality they are. I've had 2 eclipse decks and an amp in my past and now I have another amp of theres for my door speakers and a subwoofer of theirs. But hear this is you love sound quality you must get one of there decks, they are just the best in my opinion.

I found better one
HI just want to let you know I found even better speaker made in Germany. I got this from Aspen sound. MQuart is the brand. I put a pair on front. It is kind of expensive but worthevery penny. Check that out nx time
