w124 is great car
it handles like a dream, spacious, comfortable, awesome stability, looks like a 100K car!
"possibly the best post war sedan" ever built .
every time i have to car pool, I always turn down the expensive MLs,S-classes, for my 90 w124 ..its that good.
but, just curious what do you buy after w124 for a "modern" replacement ?
I saw w211, but any other suggestions ....

you might take it as a joke but after all the money i put in that crap my recent choice was: SILVER 2000 HONDA CIVIC DX (hatchback). you might think, I'm insane but after seeing HBO's programm about global warming , my baby(E320) will stay in garage for looks and bored out of my mind weekend summer washes.
