Suggestions?

I just bought a '91 300E and am planning on making some changes very soon. I was wondering if i could get some random suggestions on things like:

Euro Headlights -- (i want them but i am not quick to buy because i am not sure if they will fit, come with everything i need for install, etc.)

Wheels/Rims

Grille

If you can suggest anything or give me some websites to get these things legitimately (ive been ripped off before), i would greatly appreciate it!

Also - I was thinking of bagging it..ive seen a couple with it done and really loved it, however i cannot find anywhere that sells the set to fit a 91 300E.

Comments?

Thanks.

There are a bunch of things to do. What look are you going for? I've considered bagging before but for some odd reason I was never hyped abt it. I would suggest sitting down and making a list of things you like your car to have or look like. then write down approx. prices of what you have listed down & see if you'r really capeable of going forth w/it. You can also search this forum & other forums for some ideas. I have a few pix you can look at on my sig..

A S Design - Wow --impressive car.. not big on sony audio but very nice clean install (im big on car audio).

Anyway, before anything else.. the headlights/grille/blinkers are pretty weathered and i am anxious to change them fairly soon. So, I guess i should be asking just about that for now..i would just like some euro headlamps and blinkers that will fit my 91 300E.. a friend of mine bought new headlamps for his car not too long ago and though we were sure they would fit, they didnt, so im a little hesitant. Help!

Thanks!

If you get Hella or Bosch and they're the model for W124 they will fit.

Oriental stuff ... you're on your own.

BTW, your headlight wipers don't fit with Euro lights.

headlights, almost all brands of european flat lense lights have a high chance of proper fitment. The biggest difference is lense quality and therefore light distribution. I have KYBs and I like them, look nice and were at a great price and my night vision improved dramatically.

Enjoy your quest to mod the beast and let us know how the process.

get TYC's from www.katmac.com. They come with everything you need, and they link you to a place where you can buy color-matched spray paint for the new metal plates that come with the kit. I have these, they work great... And they're much less expensive than the Bosch and Hellas.

I agree with Bigpete123 100%. The Katmac headlight kit fit my 1992 400E perfect, as did the trim panels it came with. Included bulbs and wiring harness adapter. Everything I needed came with the kit.

BTW - Any Benz fanatics in the San Antonio, Tx area?
