C32 vs. 745li

C32 vs. 745li
I have a friend that is lookin at getting a 2003 BMW 745li and i told him he should go with the 2003 C32 AMG. He wants luxury and speed. What do you guys know about the 745li? Just looking for plus/negatives of each. Thanks

Our family has a 745li with all options except for entertainment. The seats are not the most comfortable since they are the sport package but the ride is quite sporty and sticks to the ground well. I have taken corners pretty rough on that car without tires screeching so it sticks to the ground well. The price difference between the 2 is quite different unless you find a 745 with high mileage. the 745 without the sport package has more comfortable seats and there is tons of legroom for the passengers if you get the Li version. The two are two completely different cars. One is a passenger comfort vehicle while the other is intended for speed. Myself, If for the same price, would go for the 745 before the c32. And the 7 series is very very heavy so the acceleration from standstill isn't phenomenal but more than what the average person needs. I would advise the e55 over the c55.
