guy had car running 2 weeks before pickup with a brand new battery install -- he didnt drive it since.. we go to pick it up it wont start.. it wouldnt jumpstart.. we put a brand new battery in despite the brand new one he just put in 2 weeks ago and it still will not start.. sounds like it wants to but it just wont kick off... i have this crazy idea that maybe its out of gas even though the guage says its almost full.. im gonna put some in and charge the battery and give it try.. any other suggestions greatly appreciated!!

By the way.. the car looks great.. removing the pinstripe tomorrow, giving it a good wash, wax, buff.

ask the guy what's wrong with the battery...sounds like he did something to it after putting in the new batt. since he didn't drive it after that.

 

Check the fuse in your OVP relay. Same thing happened to me when I installed my Optima. However, I could still start the car if I pumped the gas fast enough.
