'95 E300D, '92 300TE, 99.5 Golf TDI
Anyone installed a CD changer on a '92 300TE?
According to the owners manual for the stereo it's a 10-disc changer that was available from Mercedes. I assume this means it's a Sony? Any idea where it mounts and where the wiring is for it? I have an older Sony 10-disc that I was hoping to tie in if it's clean and not too difficult. Thanks in advance for any info.

I'm pretty sure the 10-disc player used in '92 was a Becker Silverstone, model number 9810 or something. I'm not sure where the changer would mount in a wagon, but it might very well be prewired for the changer, as the sedans are. Good luck trying to get the Sony unit to work
