According to Carfax, that car started in Chicago then went to Phoenix then to San Diego. It was in an Accident in 2003 and has been sold at three seperate auctions in the last two years. It does look nice, but I think I'd be a little wary.

The accident probably accounts for the nice, fresh looking paint...and the 3 auctions sounds awful...
But with no reserve, it could still be a good deal for someone.

The seller indicates the car is mint and doesn't mention any paint work or body damage. He also has a good feedback history. I'm not interested in buying the car but am tempted to ask the seller about this just to hear the response. It seems like it is buyer beware on eBay!

Before I ever bid on an ebay car, I call and talk several times with the seller. I ask alot of questions...and in subsequent calls...I ask similar-but-different questions to see if I can find some mis-truth or any shaky, hard to believe story aspect.
That said...if you email the seller, post his comments? Since it went through auctions, he may say he knows nothing...but of course he knows what the carfax says.

Despite the history, this car is 12 hours away from auctioning off with no reserve and it is sitting at under $10K...if I were looking...I would not rule this car out if it went by at or near $9-12K.

Nice looking car, but keep in mind; that car is in Florida. Much of Florida was under water just a few months ago. A friend of mine, owns a mobil home dealership here in New Jersey, & he is always turning down trades brought from Florida & Louisiana. He has the vin#/ hurricane list from the DMV.
