Installing external temperature sensor

Hi there, I'm very happy with my 320CE but it doesn't have the external temperature option. What should I get to install it? just the front sensor and a ****pit with the screen? is there any other module or device needed?

Thanks.

this is a generic one, they have them fancyer and some designed for specific cars, but this is the one I have in my explorer still works well after the 4 years I've had it:

thanks for the info.
I've read the installations instructions and I should do the same as installing it in the original cokpit screen, but with the added trouble of changing the mirror. So I prefer mounting the original MB sensor. Anyone could give information about the elements needed? just the sensor, wiring and cokpit?
