Is there an obvious reason?

In the morning, when I start the car, one click, no stepping on the gas, starts with no problem.
But when I go out to have lunch, or when I drive home in the afternoon, when starting, you have to grind it out, step on the gas for about 3-4 seconds, and rev it up, or else it dies out.
Any obvious reason for this?
