When I start it up its find...but when I hit the gas the economy meter goes to half and the motor stalls...I had to ease it in, in order to keep it running. Does anybody know whats going on??

shot in the dark but, i think its a mix of you running too rich and your oxygen sensor having gone bad. you can adjust the mixture on your car to lean it out

i think when u hit the gas, ur just increasing the richness of the mixture and the 02 sensor cant increase the air intake fast enough. this may be why you can work the gas slowly and still keep it running

Thanks for the info. bro but id rather not mess with the car...last time I did that...I lost my windows,seats and wipers...that I fixed but when it comes to the motor...I'd rather stay away...o0 and my car does need a tune-up..its smoking like a mother lol and runs a little jittery. If there is any other thing I could do to make it better...please let me know.
