my official bentley black wald w124 buildup thread
im on a lot of different forums but posting my build here on mbworld bc id rather my friends and locals know what im building. everything is being done with japanese vipstyle in mind.
example:
the project: 95 mercedes e320.. 123k miles.. flawless in and out.
step 1: exterior
ordered:
avantegarde grille
euro glass headlights with HID and clear corners
wald v2 kit from sander @ the wheel supply
wald foglights with HID
wald emblems
window/sunroof visors
custom led tailights
puddle lights
work being done:
all dents taken out
antenna shaved
hood emblem shaved
shaved emblems
shaved headlight wipers
shaved hood nozels
complete respray of bentley black (motor pulled, interior pulled, etc)
im going to the shop today to check it all out.
more pix tonight.
next step; custom suspension

Should be a nice looking car when your done. Sander hooked me up with the Wald kit for my cabrio.
FYI the first picture your showing is a Fabulous kitted 140, not a Wald kit. I'm sure you can make a 124 look like it, but the Wald kit you've ordered does look different.

I was at Sander's place yesterday and we were talking about you. lol I thought you were ordering the V4 kit? I came close in joining in your order of the WALD kit so shipping and etc would be cheaper but I backed out.

YO! How much is that wald V2 kit from Sanders? And who is Sanders?? I heard you guys mention his name quite a few times but i dont really know. I want that kit asap but i wanted to see if i can get it cheaper then 2k.

whyd you back out of the buy? thats sucks.
btw im building my car thru this thread. mod by mod, install by install. if it hits 20 pages so be it. ive always wanted to do a build thread (never did one with my prelude or wrx) so itd be cool to look back at the progress.

i think i paid roughly $2000 with foglights. may be a bit more.. havnt seen the bill yet.

I backed out because I told Sander's I couldn't make the group buy because I'm moving next month so I need to use those funds towards the move. Believe me, I was REALLY close at giving him the go and plus I wanted to see how much he could get it for me + the eisenmann race exhaust. 
I hope not EVERYONE jumps on getting Wald kits now.

saw it today and they werent as far along as i had hoped. everything is shaved with the exception of the rear emblems. all the dents are taken out. hopefully this time next week itll be painted. i spoke to sander today and theyre still waiting for the wald kit. oh well, i got time.
ill shut up. here's a few pix.

they have some large meets (check in the metro area.. lots of pix + details) that i use to attend. but since im currently under construction i prob wont come out in a while. i have some friends with bmws and supras that i may go out with. but as far as my car is concerned, i prob wont bring it out until the first big show. houston is limited to shows this year.
