Hi, sorry I havent been keeping you guys updated of my audio installation it's because my car got totalled. I'll post pics soon. I was taking a left when the light turned red and this guy going 80-90 mph coming straight, ran the red, hit my car and smashed into a light pole. I was about to come out of my car and start ripping his head off but he got pinned in the car and they had to cut his ****ty pontiac aztek to get him out. And the police said it was my fault but still waiting for the judge to decide.
So I will need a new car. I'm in Iowa so the only thing I can look at here is corn. I've been looking for cars online and found some around Chicago and in Wisconsin. I'm looking for 500E, E420, E400, E320, or maybe an S. Anybody who is selling or knows someone who wants to sell please let me know either here or at paymonmail@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Must have been the mayor's son - normally someone going 80-90 mph and running a red light would be at least partially at fault.

are you serious that he was really going 80-90 MPH? That should've killed both of you guys. Especially him, since he was in a tinny POS Aztec. I'm assuming you are exaggerating. If not, you should kiss the ground man. You're lucky to be alive!

I've always wondered about that situation- when you get stuck in the middle of the intersection yielding to take a left turn when the light turns red... Is it illegal to turn? Or maybe I should ask, is it illegal to wait in the middle of the intersection?

I hate it when that happens, because you never know if people are gonna run the red. That's why I usually wait behind the line and don't pull out into the intersection until I'm sure I can go.

 

I know in the state of california it is legal to wait in the middle of the intersection, while making an unprotected left at a stop light. If you are past the line and it turns red, you should be able to make the left right afterwards, legally. remember, it's illegal to block an intersection.

i should know, i've done level1 traffic school two times and level2 ts six times in the last 3 years... silly me
